[Photo] “Parasite” nominated for 6 Academy Awards

Bong Joon-ho’s “Parasite” has been nominated in six categories for the 2020 Academy Awards, becoming the first South Korean film to be nominated for best picture and best international film. The other categories are: best director, best original screenplay, best production design, and best film editing. “Parasite” is also the first South Korean film to make on the final list of nominees for the Oscars. “Burning” was considered for nomination in last year’s awards, but didn’t make the final cut.
